Holm Tapestry Frame
A British Designed and Registered product, this unique and stylish Tapestry Weaving Frame is individually engineered to order in Scotland. It is strongly constructed of chromed metal tubes with 3 way connectors secured by hex bolts and requires only the one 6mm allen key for all its operations. The initial assembly is quite straight forward, it can then be adapted and modified to suit individual personal requirements.
The frame sits on 2 wooden feet which can be positionally adjusted, enabling the frame to fit into corner spaces, each foot has braked castors. The sanded wood of the feet is normally left unstained but can be treated to customer’s specification if required.
Central Weaving Square
The Central Weaving Square can be revolved, this permits accurate “warping up” in a matter of minutes. An adjustable leash bar and continuous warping give the facility to weave tapestry on both sides of the Square or as one large work. The featured frame has a work area of 60 x 90 (or 180) cms. An unpolished wooden leash bar, 50 leash ties and 2 wooden laize rods are supplied with each frame. As the Square swings on a central axis it can be easily adjusted to permit various comfortable working positions, whether standing or sitting.
When not in use the frame is easily dismantled down to the Central Square, 2 support legs and stabiliser bar for ease of storage. Alternatively, with the wooden feet in the horizontal position, the whole assembly can be pushed flat against a wall and secured.
Flat packed, with detailed construction and operation instructions, the frame will normally be delivered 2 weeks from the date of a confirmed order. For orders from outwith the United Kingdom, please contact us for a courier or postage estimate.
